Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in the world of the television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. Then she began moving to Texas in search of a physical therapy career at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas before relocating to Orlando, Florida. She was in Orlando for various roles ranging from local independent films to international commercials. She quickly found her passion in the field of acting, despite small roles. Her move was in New York. Her first gig was in the soap opera All My Children. Through the first half of 2000 she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was in the 2004 short-lived television drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. In the course of a limited run, her character migrated over to Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated numerous times for her role in the show, including Best Supporting Actress in Television in the Imagen Foundation Awards. In 2008, she won an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding Performances in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza, in a recurring cast role in CSI Miami was announced a couple of minutes further. She played Marisol Deko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. In the role of Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. The show was ended after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress was born Italian as well as having a 10 year old younger brother who is named Cory. She was raised in an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano's professional career started at seven after her child's sitter brought her to an audition. Milano was among four girls selected out of thousands of hopefuls. Milano was featured on television in commercials, and off Broadway productions, including a musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
